Reality-TV creator Mark Burnett (Survivor)
is embarking on a new film adventure, buying feature film
rights to the children's fantasy book series The Secrets
of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel. The first volume in
author Michael Scott's six-part series,
called The
Alchemyst, will be published by Random House
Children's Books in May, 2007.

The trailer for the film version
of Eragon has
finally been released, and it looks great -- watch it here!
Based on the bestselling book by Christopher Paolini,
the film stars Jeremy Irons, John Malkovich, Sienna Guillory,

Eragon. The film opens Dec. 15.
