Marni Jackson

Marni Jackson is the author of The Mother Zone, nominated for the Stephen Leacock Award, and writes a Saturday column on the subject of reading and writing for The Globe and Mail. She has received several National Magazine Awards for work that has appeared in Saturday Night magazine, Toronto Life and many other publications. Her new non-fiction book, Pain: The Fifth Vital Sign, about her experiences investigating the science and culture of pain, has been published by Random House in Canada, and Crown in the US, in the spring of 2002.
