Reading has
been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. Even as a
small child I could lose myself for hours in worlds far and away
from my own. As I've grown older and lived a variety of experiences,
I find myself increasingly attracted to works that are less fantasy
and more reality glimpses of other lives and stories that
touch on a note of familiarity within me. Dropped Threads
is a wonderful compilation of just those types of stories and I
have been fortunate to be a part of the process.
Born and raised
in the foothills of the Rockies, I now live on the prairies with
my husband and our two-year-old daughter. My professional background
is in marketing and I have recently been using those skills for
two start-up companies, one of which is my own.
"Reflections
from Cyberspace" is a work of fiction, but intertwined in it
lie facets of my life experiences as a daughter, a wife, a sister
and a participant in the workforce, all wrapped up in the medium
of communication that has become a dominant feature in my life.
