Since moving
to Gabriola Island in 1988 I have learned a great deal about my
gardening ignorance. Now I'm learning what I don't know and
don't know how to ask about computers. I was born in Vancouver,
grew up there and in Ontario and Saskatchewan, acquired a master's
degree in psychology and began writing fiction when I was thirty.
I have two grown-up daughters. Among my books are Dragonhunt,
Pattern Makers, Listen to Me Grace Kelly, Cariboo
Runaway, The Toothpaste Genie and British Columbia:
Its Land, Mineral and Water Resources. My latest book is an
historical fiction woven around my grandfather's diary of his experience
in the Klondike gold rush.
