Bonnie Burnard

I have written two collections of short fiction and one novel, A Good House (HarperCollins Canada/Phyllis Bruce books), which had the good fortune of winning the 1999 Giller Prize. Writing gives me such a heap of pleasure and, aside from the haphazard, clumsy but love-drenched raising of three very fine children, it is the only contribution I've made. I do mean it to be a contribution, an offering of some kind.
